Kent has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry. He was a construction/project manager for more than 8 years before he becomes an independent construction planner since 1998.
He holds Master of Science in Project Management. He is a Certified International Project Manager (CIPM); Certified Planning Engineer (CPE); Fellow of American Academy of Project Management (FAAPM); Currently he is the Malaysia Certified Planning Engineer (CPE) Chapter President Special Adviser in conjunction with the Intenational Project Management Commission (IPMC).
He is the course facilitator in Primavera and Microsoft Project Training for a variety of clients, including general contractors, subcontractors and developers. This has contributed to the development of over hundreds of millions of dollars in construction projects. Some of these projects have included: Waste Water Treatment Plants, Manufacturing facilities, Infrastructure, Commercial Building, Bridges, Highways, Oil and Gas facilities, Institutional buildings. He also provides educational seminars on CPM scheduling and Delay Claim Analysis.
Kent works along with you in the class creating a live project through the stages of initiation, execution, monitoring and control of the project. Before the class starts, he will lead you to understand the basic elements of Critical Path Method (CPM) which guides you through how to manually calculate the early and late dates, total float, free float, critical path, and the project duration using Powerpoint presentation.
He also provides services for life after the training. You are welcome to seek his advices regarding the software application and even your projects.
